Pakistan have survived a variety of circumstances to make it to the next round. Tomorrow we'll finalise the two teams from the other group as well, with Sri Lanka taking on Afghanistan. That's all for now. This is Sagar Chawla signing off on behalf of Siva, Anurag Hegde and Kumar Abhisekh Das. Goodbye!

Salman Agha: We got the job done but we needed to bat better in the middle overs. The bowlers did well. We haven't batted to our best yet. If we batted well, we would have ended up with 170-180. Shaheen is a match winner. His batting has improved. Abrar has been outstanding. He is someone who is bringing us back into the games. We are ready for any challenge. If we play good cricket, we can be good against any side.
Muhammad Waseem: I would give credit to our bowlers. We restricted them to a low total. We lost the game due to our batting. We were going well despite losing 3 wickets in the powerplay. But then lost wickets post the 15th over. Our middle-order had to take some responsibility. We had a good experience. We played against India and Pakistan. We learnt so many things and apply it in upcoming tournaments.
Shaheen Afridi, Player of the Match: Just practising in the nets. Whatever am practising, trying to execute the same. Looking forward to the upcoming games. We lost early wickets and then middle overs. My job is to go and hit the ball. Team needed an early breakthrough and I try to provide that.
23:11 Local Time, 19:11 GMT, 00:41 IST: Pakistan were late to turn up at the ground, very late to turn up with the bat, but they eventually did turn up. Shaheen Shah Afridi's late hitting must've lifted them heading into the break. From a position of great despair, they finished with 146 after being put into bat, and that has proven to be more than enough. A solid bowling and fielding show has seen to it that they're through to the next round along with India from Group A. They all shared the wickets, except Mohammad Nawaz, and never allowed UAE to get ahead of the chase at any point. There was something in the pitch right through the game, and unfortunately for the UAE their batters weren't good enough. But take nothing away from their spirited performance with the ball earlier, led by Junaid Siddique and Simranjeet Singh. A lot to take away for them as they head out.
Haris Rauf to Muhammad Rohid Khan, out Muhammad Rohid Khan Run Out!! 2 runs completed. Comical run out to finish the game. Length ball on off, Muhammad Rohid drives through backward point, gets back for an easy two and then wants a third as the keeper's cheeky back-flick misses the stumps. He's the only one who is seeing a run in that, his partner isn't interested. The ball rolls past Haris who quickly swoops in, fires it back to the keeper and Muhammad Rohid is well short. Muhammad Rohid Khan run out (Haris Rauf/Mohammad Haris) 2(1)

Haris Rauf to Haider Ali, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Junaid Siddique, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Haris Rauf to Simranjeet Singh, out Simranjeet Singh Run Out!! Direct hit and gone! Third umpire is having a look but surely Simranjeet is well short. He bangs his bat into the turf before walking off. Full and fast at 144.5kph, Simranjeet is late on the drive, mistimes it to midwicket before going for a risky single. Fielder has just one stump to aim and hits it. Simranjeet Singh run out (Sahibzada Farhan) 1(4)
