Thumped in the Tests, beaten in the ODIs (albeit there was a brief resistance) and now walloped in the T20Is. To say no one expected the Windies to return home empty-handed would be a lie. Even in their favoured T20 format, the absence of a few big names didn't really make them favourites. And this long tour is finally coming to an end tonight with the final T20I of the series.

India already have one eye on the Australian tour. Having already rested Virat Kohli for the series, they have now left out Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah for this dead rubber to ensure they are completely ready for the big tour down under. It might give Yuzvendra Chahal and perhaps Washington Sundar to make an impression whereas Shreyas Iyer would be itching for an opportunity in the middle order.

 For the Windies, it's all about ending a disappointing tour on a winning note. Nothing but pride is at stake especially after the mauling in the second T20I. Their batting has crumbled on both occasions with big names like Kieron Pollard and Darren Bravo failing to fire. Denesh Ramdin hasn't instilled any confidence and their upcoming superstar Shimron Hetmyer hasn't been making the best use of his long handle.
