Ravindra Jadeja scored a useful half-century coming in at 74/5.

Nitish Reddy added 53 with Jadeja before Cummins returned to castle him.

Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed for 77 with India still 33 runs away from avoiding the follow on.

Akash Deep (27*) and Jasprt Bumrah (10*) added an unbeaten 39-run stand for the last wicket to help India avoid the follow on.
